Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica's strategies to respond to the coronavirus infection
March 20, 2020. Moscow – PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica management approved a package of measures to be embedded into its day-to-day activities with a view to protect the Company from the coronavirus infection and mitigate the damage it may cause.
Starting from March 16, 2020, PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica, its standalone devisions and subsidiaries have been on high alert for the prevention of the COVID-19 spread.
The following measures are taken:

Every 2 hours, proper cleaning of all the Company's premises with virucidal disinfectants, especially of door handles, switches, handrails, contact surfaces (employees' tables and chairs, business equipment), as well as common areas (dining rooms, restrooms, toilets, sports areas and equipment, etc.).

Measuring employees' body temperature in the workplace and compulsory exclusion from work of those with an elevated temperature.

Company staff whose presence in the office is not required now work remotely.

Company employees should also do the following:
− if possible to hold back on any trips (business, tourist, etc.) to foreign countries with unfavorable epidemiological situation or countries with increasing threats of this kind;
− if possible to hold back on any trips (business, tourist, etc.) to other regions of the Russian Federation with negative dynamics of the epidemiological threat;
− to take care of personal hygiene (especially hand hygiene) in the Company's offices. To this end, there are antibacterial gels in the Company's reception and dining rooms and toilets.
− in respect of meetings with third-party representatives in the Company's offices: to inform business partners and potential customers about the means of personal hygiene.
Recommendations to Company employees related to the high alert for prevention of the coronavirus spread:
− to avoid close contacts with each other in common areas (at meetings or lunch breaks) and to use telecommunication channels to discuss business matters;
− in case a personal communication is necessary, to keep a distance of at least 1 meter;
− to not participate in public business or other events.
