May 13, 2020. Moscow — Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica LLC became a member of the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC).
The Moscow Innovation Cluster is one of the projects by the capital government. This platform was created in order to develop innovation and cooperation among businesses, industries, science and the city. The main goal of the Cluster is to establish an innovative ecosystem for constructing successful business, as well as to develop platforms for an unimpaired growth of innovation projects.
Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica LLC is part of Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica Group of Companies, a leading company in the Russian engineering market. The Company's activities:
• Manufacturing a number of electrical equipment types:
– Complete transformer substations;
– Medium voltage units;
– Low voltage panels of up to 6,300 A;
– Electric lighting systems;
– Industrial electric heating systems.
• Implementing investment project "Developing and producing high-tech low-voltage complex devices" at SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

The Moscow Innovation Cluster (the i.moscow portal) is a platform for implementing innovations and developing cooperation between large corporations, industries, SMEs, educational and science organizations, development centers and the city. The Cluster is supervised by the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. The members include the Skolkovo Innovation Center, Research Center Kurchatov Institute, Rusnano Corporation, Strogino and Slava Technoparks and many others.
MIC comprises over 2,500 members (as of May 20, 2020).
Members are provided with leased rooms for testing products, assisted in searching for collaborative development partners. In addition, annual investments to the projects in the amount of 15% of the total sum are reimbursed.
As of May 2020, Moscow is the only metropolis in the world that implemented its own large-scale program for supporting business in addition to the federal one at the background of the coronavirus pandemic and enterprises' forcing to close (according to the international consulting company Ernst&Young). This program is comprised of three sets of support measures which are aimed at helping certain categories of affected companies to overcome the challenging times and promoting business recovery after the lifting of lockdown measures.
