PJSC Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica and Finam information-analytical agency held an online conference. The topic was the initial results of the company s IPO, forecasts of financial and target indicators for 2017, and the company s development prospects.

An IPO in the engineering sector is a rare event under the current market stagnation. Nevertheless, Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica has enlarged its order portfolio by focusing on the oil and gas and nuclear sectors. Since the IPO (in September 2017), the company s share price has increased by 26%. The company is expecting profit of RUB 200 million in 2017, which is 5 times more than the previous year. The company s business profitability is now 17% and still growing, partially due to the increase in sales of own-produced equipment. The company had a margin of 12% in 2016, and 15% for H1 2017, and the company has no debt load. “The IPO allowed us to attract new large customers, including foreign companies who really appreciate our publicity as a partner. The largest Russian companies have begun to consider our company as an executor of bigger projects, which hadn't been available to us before this IPO. Now we have access to increased limits on bank guarantees, and their price has fallen. Moreover, we are thinking of merging with a range of engineering companies and are negotiating these mergers now. Nevertheless, we are not planning any additional share placements. In the future, we are considering the possibility of launching an options program for the heads of the company's divisions,” says Sergey Dubenok, Financial Director of PJSC Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica. According to Dubenok, this will make it possible to increase efficiency and transparency, and will help to form a good corporate culture that meets all international standards.
