PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica has presented innovative technological equipment at SIBUR's All-Russian meeting on import substitution
March 20–21, 2019. Tyumen – PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica, represented by ROG-Engineering LLC (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), one of the leaders in the Russian engineering market, participated for the first time in the annual specialized meeting of PJSC SIBUR on import substitution.
At the meeting "Innovative technical solutions of manufacturers of the Russian Federation" and the thematic exhibition, Russian equipment manufacturers presented their own innovative technical solutions. The purpose of the event is to hold professional discussions between technological equipment suppliers and the relevant experts of PJSC SIBUR, as well as to better understand the needs and opportunities of each other.
SIBUR is willing to cooperate and interested in attracting new innovative technologies, technical solutions and equipment. This is illustrated by the annual participation of SIBUR experts and structures in the event.
The questions of import substitution, alleviation of the risks to the sustainable development of petrochemical and gas chemical companies in the Russian Federation, SIBUR among others, were discussed through three prisms: Mechanics, Energy and Metrology.
Welcoming remarks were made by: Rustam Galiakhmetov, member of the Management Board and Managing Director for Production Efficiency of SIBUR LLC, Vadim Konnov, Head of the IT, Automation and Telecommunications Department of PJSC Gazprom Neft, and Eduard Gershman, Director of the Reliability and Repair Center of SIBUR, who stressed the necessity and importance of the event under the present circumstances.
"The implementation of the program for import substitution with equipment and components from domestic manufacturers, considering the whole company, generated an economic effect of several millions of rubles last year," said Eduard Gershman. "The biggest economic effect following the substitution of import equipment concerned the Tobolsk branch of SIBUR."
Dmitry Kuznetsov, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, informed the participants of the meeting on the implementation of the Strategy for Ensuring the Unity of Measurements in the Russian Federation.
ROG-Engineering LLC presented flare equipment and additional equipment for gas discharge systems during the Mechanics section. SIBUR specialists have shown keen interest in these proposals. Following the report of Rasim Magafurov, Deputy Head of the Commercial Department of ROG-Engineering LLC, there was a discussion of technical issues on the use of flare equipment on SIBUR technological sites. Damir Yunusov, Chief Technologist of ROG-Engineering LLC, also answered questions of the participants.
The results of SIBUR's import substitution in 2018 and the goals for 2019 were announced by Roman Zhalyuk, Head of the Technical Maintenance and Repair Division of the Mekhanika ceneter of SIBUR LLC. In general, SIBUR managed to reduce the share of imports from 55% to 45% by the end of 2018. In a number of points, which three years ago had no equivalents in Russia, the company has now switched to a Russian alternative.
Habir Kilmukhametov, General Director of ROG-Engineering LLC, who took part in the event, noted: “The company expects that the professional discussion held within the framework of the meeting will contribute to further organization of SIBUR's import substitution activities, with the involvement of our equipment and innovative technologies. ROG-Engineering specialists have extensive practical experience in the engineering, manufacture and installation of technological facilities in the oil and gas chemical industry.”
The meeting also actively addressed the practical aspects of the Digitalization of the Production and the use of “unmanned” technologies.
In the Energy section, Aleksey Dolgov, Head of the Project Sales Department of Engineering Center Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica LLC, actively participated in the discussion of import substitution issue. He could talk directly with SIBUR energy supply and energy efficiency specialists. SIBUR is interested in the delivery of domestic substation equipment, electronic protection units, uninterrupted electric power supply sources and electric motors.
Ilya Kalenkov, General Director of PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica, commented on his participation in the meeting: “Over the previous years, our Company has established itself as a reliable supplier of engineering equipment for SIBUR projects. We carry out large-scale deliveries of engineering products for SIBUR's flagship project, the ZapSibNeftekhim complex, for the period 2017–2019.
We are currently working on the possibility of supplying technological equipment to SIBUR companies. In line with this work, we highly appreciate the practical value of direct dialog and discussions in this format.
The stable operation and sustainable development of higher processing plants in Russia are possible only with the involvement of Russian manufacturers of equipment, thanks to the full resumption of cooperation between domestic enterprises. Moreover, this should be done on an engineering and technological basis, competitive not only in the Russian, but also in the global engineering market.”
REFERENCE:
“Made in Russia” is not just a label, but a real program. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, just 5 years ago the share of imports in deliveries of critical Oil&Gas and petrochemical equipment in Russia was as high as 80%, and for some products there were no Russian alternative at all. Today, domestic producers are increasingly competing with foreign companies in almost all fields.
All solutions allowing to save resources and respecting the environment receive the biggest demand in the market. At the same time, effective innovative technologies, automatic devices of metering and control of technological processes are in great demand.
This year over 70 domestic enterprises took part in the PJSC SIBUR meeting on import substitution in Tyumen. The meeting was organized by the Association Avtometkhim, standing for automation and metrology in chemistry (Moscow) and with the support of the participants.
